Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Vidora desktop application ("the Application") provided by VRR Software Solutions ("we", "our", or "us").

By downloading, installing, or using Vidora, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Application.

1. Description of the Application

Vidora is a native Windows 11 desktop software utility designed to download, convert, extract audio, and archive publicly accessible digital media streams for personal, offline use.

2. Permitted Use & User Responsibility

Vidora is provided as a technological tool. You agree to use Vidora solely for lawful purposes in accordance with these Terms and all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You will only download, convert, or archive content that you own, content in the public domain, content released under Creative Commons or open licenses, or content for which you have obtained express legal permission from the copyright owner.
  • You are solely responsible for verifying the copyright status and legal usage rights of any content you download or convert using Vidora.
  • You will not use the Application to infringe upon the intellectual property, copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights of any third party.
  • You will not use the Application to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections or violate third-party terms of service in an unauthorized manner.

VRR Software Solutions does not endorse, condone, or support the unauthorized copying, distribution, or commercial exploitation of copyrighted material.

3. Open Source Components & Third-Party Tools

Vidora interacts with independently maintained, open-source software libraries and command-line utilities, including yt-dlp and FFmpeg:

  • These components are distributed under their own respective licenses (e.g., Unlicense, LGPL, GPL).
  • VRR Software Solutions is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers of yt-dlp, FFmpeg, or any streaming platforms.
  • All trademarks, platform names, and logos belong to their respective copyright holders.

4. Intellectual Property

The software code, interface design, brand name, and assets of Vidora are the intellectual property of VRR Software Solutions and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or commercially exploit the Application except as permitted by applicable law.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

VIDORA IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

VRR SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • THE APPLICATION WILL OPERATE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
  • THIRD-PARTY STREAMING WEBSITES OR PLATFORMS WILL REMAIN COMPATIBLE OR ACCESSIBLE.
  • ANY ERRORS OR COMPATIBILITY ISSUES WILL BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VRR SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA, GOODWILL, USE, OR HARDWARE DAMAGE) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless VRR Software Solutions and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Application, or your infringement of any third-party rights (including copyright infringement).

8. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to our website with an updated revision date. Your continued use of Vidora following the posting of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
