1. Overview & Privacy Philosophy
VRR Software Solutions ("we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy. Vidora is engineered from the ground up as a 100% local-first, offline desktop utility for Windows 11.
We believe that your media downloads, audio extractions, stream URLs, and local files should remain strictly private on your personal device. Vidora operates with zero telemetry, zero cloud sync, and zero external analytics servers.
2. Information We Process
Vidora processes all data and operations exclusively on your local machine:
A. Media URLs & Stream Inputs
- What is processed: Video or audio URLs provided by you to download, convert, or extract media.
- Where it is processed: Directly within the application and local command-line processes on your personal computer.
- Cloud tracking: We never log, store, or transmit the URLs you enter to VRR Software Solutions or any third-party monitoring server.
B. Downloaded Files & Directory Storage
- What is processed: Video and audio files downloaded or converted using the application.
- Where it is stored: Saved directly to the output folder you specify on your personal storage drive (e.g., your Downloads, Videos, or Music folder).
- Cloud access: Vidora does not include any cloud storage component. Your files reside entirely on your personal machine under your complete ownership.
C. Local Application Preferences
- What is processed: User configuration options such as preferred download format (MP4, MKV, MP3, WAV, FLAC), default output directory, and theme preference.
- Where it is stored: Stored locally in your system's application configuration directory.
- Data handling: Application settings never leave your device.
3. Open-Source Utilities & Network Operations
Vidora interacts with independently maintained, open-source software libraries and command-line utilities, including yt-dlp and FFmpeg:
- Local Execution: Media conversion, remuxing, and stream parsing take place locally on your computer.
- Direct Platform Connection: When downloading or streaming media content, network requests are made directly between your local machine and the respective public media host. No network traffic is routed through, proxied by, or inspected by VRR Software Solutions.
- Third-Party Policies: When accessing or downloading content from third-party streaming websites, your connection is subject to the terms of service and privacy practices of those external platforms.
4. Operating System Permissions
To function as a native Windows desktop media utility, Vidora requires standard Windows privileges:
- Local File System Access: Reads and writes downloaded video and audio files to user-designated storage directories.
- Internet Access: Connects directly to external media endpoints to download requested stream files and check for open-source component updates.
- Optional System Notifications: Dispatches local Windows desktop notifications to alert you when a download or audio conversion is completed.
5. Information We Do NOT Collect
Vidora does not collect, track, or share:
- Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number, physical address).
- Browsing history, visited websites, or search queries.
- Identifiers or metadata of downloaded media files.
- User account credentials or login information.
- Device fingerprints, hardware identifiers, or IP addresses.
- Analytics, crash reports, or behavioral telemetry.
- Advertising identifiers or marketing profiling data.
6. Third-Party Data Sharing & Advertising
Vidora contains no third-party advertising SDKs, no sponsored trackers, and no telemetry services. Your data is never sold, rented, monetized, or shared with VRR Software Solutions or any third party.
7. Data Retention & Control
You retain full and absolute control over your local data at all times:
- Download History: You can clear any local download history or logs within the application at any time.
- Downloaded Media: You can move, edit, or permanently delete downloaded media files directly through Windows File Explorer.
- Complete Removal: Uninstalling Vidora completely removes the application executable and all associated local configuration data from your Windows device.
8. Children's Privacy
Vidora does not collect any personal data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. It is fully compliant with child privacy protection regulations such as COPPA.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on our website with an updated revision date. Continued use of Vidora following the posting of an updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
