Privacy Policy for AutoQueue

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AutoQueue ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards operational and personal data when you use the AutoQueue native desktop application and associated cloud services.

By using AutoQueue, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide a fully synchronized garage management experience, AutoQueue collects and processes several categories of data:

A. Garage Staff & User Credentials

  • Account Profiles: When you register, we collect your name, email address, password hash, role (Owner, Manager, Receptionist, Technician), and branch location assignment.
  • Authentication: Login sessions and security tokens are managed securely via Supabase Auth.

B. Customer Directory Data

  • Contact Information: Names, phone numbers, email addresses, and home branch designations of garage clients.
  • Service Context: Linkage to registered vehicles and billing records.

C. Vehicle Specifications

  • Vehicle Metadata: Make, model, year of manufacture, license plate numbers, color, and VIN/Chassis numbers.
  • Diagnostic Metrics: Odometer readings recorded during repair check-ins.

D. Inventory & Operational Metrics

  • Parts Catalog: Parts names, SKU codes, categories, manufacturer details, stock quantities, buying prices, and selling prices.
  • Workshop Logs: Repair job status updates, parts transfer request records between branches, and technician assignments.

E. Financial and Subscription Data

  • Invoices & Estimates: Quotation drafts, line items, payment status (unpaid, partial, paid), and remaining balance totals.
  • Store Transactions: Native Microsoft Store subscription transaction identifiers, license keys, and renewal timestamps. *Note: We do not collect or store credit card numbers; all payments are processed securely by the Microsoft Store.*

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following business purposes:

  • Core Application Operations: Creating repair cards, allocating technician rosters, tracking parts stock levels, and generating customer invoices.
  • Multi-Branch Synchronization: Enabling secure database replication and parts transfers between your registered branches.
  • Licensing and Subscription Gates: Validating subscription status (Free, Starter, Pro) via Microsoft Store licensing checks and enforcing plan restrictions.
  • Security & Auditing: Maintaining role-based Row Level Security (RLS) policies and logging branch transfers for staff or inventory audit trails.

3. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

A. Security Protocols

  • Database Security: All operational data is stored in secure databases hosted via Supabase. We enforce Postgres Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure users can only access records matching their specific organization.
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest.

B. Deletion Integrity (7-Day Restore Window)

  • To protect garages against accidental loss of operational history, deleting a customer profile, vehicle record, or inventory part triggers a soft-delete status.
  • Soft-deleted data is hidden from daily workflows but remains recoverable for a 7-day restoration window.
  • If not restored by an authorized admin within 7 days, the record is permanently purged from our active databases.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your garage data, customer logs, or vehicle histories. Data is only processed by:

  • Supabase (Our cloud database and authentication provider).
  • Microsoft Store (For native transaction and subscription validation).
  • Law enforcement or regulatory bodies, solely if required by law.
